For over fifty years I have been fascinated by the many paths the mind travels in trying to secure a safe place in an indifferent universe. The books offered here are my own reflections about the mind as I’ve walked the paths of my life.

I first looked at a map when I was five and took my first photograph a few years later. When I got older, my curiosity  led me to explore many of the places depicted by those maps. The images offered here are but a few of the inexhaustible variety and beauty that I have seen in my travels about the world. They can be seen as aesthetically pleasing, but, like the books, also as invitations to feel realms that cannot be spoken.
